Q: Who can come to camp?
The camps are open to any child aged 4 – 14 years old. If your child has special needs we will be pleased to discuss their requirements.

Q: What about security
Safety always comes first so we would ask that our pick up and drop off procedures are strictly adhered to. When delivering your children you will be asked to sign a register and provide details of anyone else who may be collecting your children in the afternoon. It is essential that you confirm each day who shall be collecting the children in the afternoon. If the drop off and collecting signatures are not the same, and we have not been notified of changes, we shall not be able to release the children. We can only accept changes in writing, fax or in person. We are not able to accept telephone changes at any time.

Q: Are the camps independently inspected?
Our camps are all registered with OFSTED. Inspection covers everything from staff qualifications and equipment to health and hygiene policies. It also covers the police checking of staff and the monitoring of first aid, accident and emergency procedures.

Q: Who are your staff?
The staff at each of our centres are the most important element in ensuring that your children enjoy their holiday. The management team in each of our centres are experienced teachers whose brief is to ensure that every child irrespective of ability enjoys their holiday within a happy and safe environment. The group leaders and supervisory staff are a mixture of teachers, graduates, undergraduates, and other suitable people who have been carefully selected for their enthusiasm, ability, initiative, and friendliness as well as their qualifications and experience.
All staff attend our own training which covers issues such as supervision of children, child protection, first aid, fire procedures, equipment safety and staff conduct.

Q: What if my child is ill or has an accident at camp?
On each camp we have a number of first aiders, and they deal with any accident or illness in accordance with our procedures. Each first aider carries with them a first aid kit. Fortunately, most of the accidents we deal with are for minor grazes, however if a child suffers an injury more serious or should fall ill and require hospital treatment, you will be contacted as soon as possible.
